This past weekend I wa able to re-upholster the entire rear seat, the DS seat, and stripped down the PS. That included fixing and re-welding the seat frames (note: check for cracks before you hog ring the new upholstery onto the frame). I easily would've been able to do the entire re-uphostery in a weekend if i didn't document every single step digitally (over 1200 pictures for the clarifications of the steps) and take off sat evening early to party with friends at applebees. But i digress.

I'll try and finish the write-up within the next week or so (since it's spring break) But I thought you guys would like a lil before and after pictures.

Before

Rear Seat Bottom-

Rear Seat Top-

DS Front Seat-

After

Rear Seat-

DS Front seat- (note in this picture the two halfs are held together prior to final tightening and pulling to check for stripe alignment. I'll take a picture of the two halfs bolted together and the final picture when i get the time)

The seats look tons smoother in person than they do with the light bouncing off of them in the picts. What do you think of my first attempt at upholstery?

Good job! looks great.
I cant wait to do mine.

Did you buy the entire set? I noticed those were Mach front seats. Who did you get the upholstery from?

Looks good. When I did mine, I was able to clean up the back seats and keep them original to the car. It is about the only thing that didn't get replaced.

Looks real good, I might give mine a try, are any special tools needed?

Thanks,
Jim
