I was looking at different nitrous kits at Summit and I saw that there were different kinds of activation switches. They had TPS, a microswitch and a push-button.

I know it's pretty self explanatory that the TPS switch would be like a WOT switch and a push button would be one you install in the cockpit. So then can the microswitch be installed in either place?

Coming from an electronics background the word microswitch just means small switch... Most likley the microswitch you are refering to is a micro lever switch, AKA wot switch.

TPS switch = throttle position sensor switch
It is actually a voltage triggered solid state switch.

Don't know if any of that helped?
