Quick Q!?

This guy locally has an 03 that he trashed the tranny in. It has a spec stage 2 clutch with approx 1000 miles and a OEM 8 bolt "cobra" flywheel. Im interested in buying both the flywheel and clutch for my 02 3650 trans but from what im seeing anything that was cobra and/or 8 bolt only fit 99-mid 01 gt... correct? My question is this, will the flywheel work and is it beneficial, and if they r being sold as a pair is it even likely the clutch will work?? Im trying to get part numbers....

The clutch is going to be an 11" and will only fit 01-04 gt 99-04 cobra and 03-04 mach 1

The flywheel will fit both 2 and 4v engines but obviously only with an 8- bolt crank which is cobras and 99-00 gt. Unsure if any other year gt had an 8 bolt crank..

No idea if it will fit your application because idk what year 2v motor you have

Well it appears i may have been burnt on this... Its for sure an 11" spec housing and I assume its the correct pressure plate but theres no part numbrs anywhere except on the disc: Valeo 167486 which comes back as an OEM 99-04 cobra disc and surely thats not what spec includes with their clutches... ? In any case its not gnna work on my 02 2v's 3650 trans.....

If its an 11" it should be the one you need...99-04 cobras and 01-04 gts with the tr3650 use the same clutch...the disc shouldn't say valeo on it tho...that's a ford racing/ram disc...you can easily get a spec disc for cheap

If its an 02' you have its a 6-bolt 11" flywheel you need. I just replaced mine three weeks ago. So was fresh in my head. An Soo glad that I'm done with it. I also swapped out the trans with a fresh beefy like new one.

Doesnt the cobra have a t56 not a 3650? The flywheel was an 8 bolt so I didnt get it bc I knew it was wrong.... What tranny is that? I like that shifter too!

Your right bro. The Cobra uses the T56. But if I'm not mistaken its still the 11" flywheel used? Just an 8-bolt instead of 6-bolts on the GT's.
That's the 3650 trans. With the Roush Roadrace shifter. And I had the case hightemp Chrome painted?
Now I know what some will say its a transmission? It's up under the car? Who's goin to see it? An your right? Who will. I just had the time while it was apart to sand the case down an prep it good an shoot it with the paint? Thought what the hell.
