quick question about going to the track

im going to the track friday (today),and i was wondering if my car will do alright with a 100 shot on it,since i havent got it tuned or my timing bumped down or anything
its an 1/8 mile

you'll be fine, especially if you are running a range colder plugs...a 100 shot isnt that much...i'm running a 125 without any timing pump and she doesnt ping AT ALL....

I don't think I would chance it. You would prob be fine spraying but then again there's a lot to loose. I would wait on the tune.

Wait I just noticed that you have a chip. So your timing isn't stock it's advanced????

Get it tuned first. You can easily blow an engine with 100 shot or less.

i would be itching to do it but i would break down and get a tune and your timing done

with a tune would be best. but a 100 shot will be ok if you have the colder plugs and remove and tunning software that advances timming.

im sorry i took the chip back so im running stock timing, the chip made my car run like crap and smoke

Sheesh.. well, look on the bright side. If you do blow your motor, you can always go forged!

I blew my engine the first run down the track with a 75 shot. But, that was with a dry kit.
