Quick question about intakes

OK i have ordered my 05 stang gt and it should get here sometime this summer.. i want to get an aftermarket intake and i dont want to spend alot of money or void warrenty. I have been doing alittle bit of searching and i just want to know what system would be best for a cold air intake setup. Im not sure which bolt ons require programing and which do not. And if i do not re-program/tune the stang after adding the intake on will it do much for preformance? thanks guys, sry if im a little ignorant.

a quick search would answer this question for you. it has been brought up several times. it is best to get a tune on an 05 mustang when altering the AIR/FUEL ratio. a cold air intake obviously does this. do a search and your question will be answered in full, and it only takes a few seconds, lots quicker than typing a new post....

the AFE kit and K&N kit advertise a tune is not necessary with their kit.I don't know how true that is but their the experts I guess ?..Anywaya, I have a new AFE intake that I will not be using since I am going with a supercharger so if you are interested let me know

If Volant has released one yet, go with it. The airbox is sealed to ensure you get cool air.

They are phenolic, meaning no heat transfer, and most of them have a cool clear top.
