Hey quick question guys,

I'm getting my tires mounted and balanced in tomorrow. I'm going straight from work, so I'm bringing the tires with me. Just wanted to check if a 245/50/16 tire will fit in the rear on stock 16" pony wheels? or do I have to do anything to the quad shocks?

245's will fit great. 255 is about the maximum with quads in the stock position.

You wont have any problems with the 245's thought.

Yes the 245 will fit great. As for the 255 is about the widest with quad shock....... I have to disagree. I am running a 275/50 r 15 with the quads still on. They rub only in heavy cornering. But not 2 bad at all.

245/50/16 here as well on my ponys. They do rub over heavy potholes, but not enough to make me go smaller.

They work great, and look awesome. They don't have too much "buldge" either. I had them on a 92 GT loved it!
