Quick question

What is the easiest way to change my thermostat? from the looks of it i may have to take my water pump off just to get to the lower bolt..

I've always just removed the dizzy cap and rotated it out of the way so that I had access to the bolts. Use a ratcheting box end or open end wrench to get the bolts loose. One is long and one is short. You should be able to unthread both bolts so that the housing will come out. When I put the Tstat back in, I make sure that the weep hole is at the top (if equipped) and use two tiny dots of superglue to hold it in place while I reinstall the housing. No muss, no fuss.

you do not have to take your waterpump off to get to it... the bolts are right there you should be able to get to them easy.... i changed mine in like 30mins couple months ago!

I tried i cant get a socket in there..
Dagger if i turn the dizzy wont I knock the car out of time...

Don't use a socket use a wrench.

You need a thin wrench, like the others said. not a socket wrench.

And yes... you will knock the timing off. Just mark it before you move it so you can put it back in the same spot.

try a marker...

pull off the dist cap and mark the relation of the rotor w/ a mark on the inside of the dizzy before you pull it. No need to remove it though. I'd done them on both cars using a thin wrench.

They look pretty rusted and both you and i know my history with rusted bolts and water passages.....

Use a piece of chalk, some fingernail polish, a permanent marker, whatever you got. I've actually put small chisel marks on the dizzy and the lower intake where the two meet together. For me, it's marked at 12* initial timing. Since you're not pulling the dizzy out, there's no need to mark the rotor at all. Just mark the dizzy where it goes into the motor/intake. Hell, you could use the tip of a nail and mark it through the grime and rust. hehe
