Do stock tires (245) fit on a 17x9 rim? or 17x8...

Yes they fit on a 9 wide but the tire will be stretched out to the rim. you won't have much rim protection.

ditto...245's fit best a 17x8" rim. The stock rim and tire size on a 99-04 is 245/45/17 on a 17x8" rim.

they will fit 245s on a 17x9 had em for a while but looked too small so I have 275s now on my cobra rims.

But if your looking to save some loot they will work

I wouldnt recommend it, I have 265/35 on my 9in wide rims and I think that they are stretched. Again not much curb protection.

They are Kumhos though.... maybe they fit different ?
