Well just a quick thanks to you guys for all the help with the Efan install...though the Dccontroller has not arrived yet I did manage to get the thing wired up by a relay and toggle as we discussed. Now the good news is I kept the car running in the garage where the air temp was near 100 and humidity was 40%= blazin hot. The car warmed up to 205 in a matter of a few minutes and when I hit the switch the fan came on and in 2 minutes I was sitting at 182 degrees (hood down the whole time)....and the temp did not budge untill I shut the car down!!! So all I can say is the taurus fan is moving TONS of air, I didn't have the time to get her out but I have no concearns regarding wether temp will be an issue..it's more effective than the cluch fan IMO. I noticed the volts dropped from 13.5 at idle to 12.4-12.5 again at idle with the fan on..it takes some power but still excellent with the pullies in place I think. Thanks again and I'll let you know how the Dcc unit is once it's in place later this month.

Excellent Derek!
The couple things that come to me are that you know your worst-case voltage now - Brian's controller will only unburden the system. That's good knowledge to have IMHO (knowing your worst case).

And that you have a lot more fan than you likely need - so you wont be drawing many amps anyhow (with the variable controller).

Ya done good son!

TANKS POP ;)....just kiddin buddy. Definately good info from running it this way regarding the charging system. Was even better getting a chance to learn a little more about the electrical components and workings in our cars.
