well, i joined the club and this is my initial goal. I have been doing searches for the last few weeks and it looks to be around the high 12's.

So who is it and whats the time.

I did it in my 94 Cobra, w/ just bolt-on's.
65mm. tb
homemade cai
pro-m 75
extender modified by Sam Guido
4.10 gears
BBK shorty headers
offroad h-pipe
turbo catback
Nitto drag radials

I think that was everything. I went a best of 12.97, and ran a best mph of 106.15
I believe the car had more in it but I cut it short and went w/ a Vortech.
This was done w/ 1.70 60' times on the drag radials. Any questions, just let me know bud.

yes it certainly can be done. there are others out there that dont frequent the forums much or at all, so dont think it is a long shot or it takes a factory freak to make it happen. its all in the combo and driver ability (track conditions help or hurt too).

i was going 13.80s in my 95 gt with just shorties, o/r x, flowmasters, underdrives, cai, and a steeda shifter cutting some crappy 2.0 60 foot times. i know its a cobra you are working with, but i was going to go for 12s with the stock gt h/c/i just to set a goal but when the motor quit on me i went for a built motor instead. i know that someone on corral (dont remember who) was going 12s with the stock gt hci and plenty do it with stock e7's and an aftermarket intake

oh and btw, i have only been to osw once and i certainly dont intend on heading back anytime soon. id love to check out brandenton sometime though, i hear good things about that track

That setup is pretty much everything my car has on it now. except its on 3.73s and no extender. it does have aluminum d/s and pullies though. I just dont know how i want to go about tuning it. From what i read the chips just dont cut it, the a9l is a step backwards and you have to be an engineer to use a tweecer.

I also had a aluminum driveshaft and Mac underdrive pulleys.
You can find a extender for $200 or so if you look.
Good luck! :nice:
