They never should have called it a GTO in the first place really. It seems to me that bringing basicly a foreign car to the U.S. and re-badging it with classic insignia is kind of an insult to enthusuasts.
thats pretty freakin funny!!!Black95GTS said:Hey everyone, I have a great idea! Lets stop making the Trans/Am which everyone LOVES, and instead make a new GTO! We'll upgrade everything and then stuff all these awesome performance parts into something that looks like a Grand Am with dual exhaust! People will buy a ton of them and we will crush Ford, the Mustang will never compete!

Not to mention, when done right they can be made pretty fast. They are replacing it with some gay ass mix between a small suv and econo car. It really pisses me off.

pleasehelp said:You guys are talking about the Dodge Caliber SRT-4. http://www.autoblog.com/2006/02/08/aye-carumba-dodge-unloads-the-300-hp-caliber-srt-4/ It will be built in the town I lived in a few months ago which is only 15 mins from my house- Belvidere, Il. They started production of regular models in January. I read somewhere that an AWD verision will be offered later this year! What do you guys think of it???
No but seriously, i would have liked to see the neon get a 2 door version, and they build they srt-4 off that. The caliber doesnt look bad, i just dont care for that "style" too much. And for it to look similar to the magnum...well...ill just pass and get the magnum.
