For the same $$$, you can get the MM sport box.
http://www.maximummotorsports.com/giab.asp#sport This package includes better quality stuff than the Saleen kit. Most of the components are resuable as you grow.
A few examples of how the MM kit is better:
-Weld-in subframe connectors. These are superior to the bolt on Saleen, as they profived a stronger contact with the chassis.
-Pan Hard bar. Provides better lateral control for the rear axle. This part isn't in the Saleen kit.
-Better CC plates. These are 4-bolt jobbies that have more adjustablilty. These are better if you ever decide to go with a coil over setup
-strut tower b and lower chassis brace - there aren't included with the saleen kit. These in combo with the sub frame connectors really firm up the chassis.
-Tech support. MM tech support will be there as you grow, giving you honest advice from a knowledgable person. Saleen will ignore you. if they pick up the phone the guy won't know what he's talking about.
-Build quality - MM stuff is powder coated and built for race cars and street cars. Saleen stuff is strictly street car.
Saleen is better here:
-The Saleen has better quility shocks. In either case, these parts would need to be upgraded as you advance.
-The Saleen has LCAs. Not in the MM kit. These might be useful if you drag race. I think the Saleens have Poly Bushings at both ends, which will HURT your handling.
-They both use similar spring rates and lowering.
