This morning when we got off work. He has an '03 with a full exhaust (x pipe headers and cat back) A throttle body, cold Air kit. From a dead stop he pulled me 3 cars from a 50 mph roll he pulled me by about 3 cars. I was pretty pleased with my car, I mean I knew I was going to get but I just wanted to see how bad. His car traps 102 mph in the 1/4 so I think I held up pretty well. I need some gears and an exhaust system BAD.

I have yet to lose to a 99-03.

Beat my friend from a dig and a roll. In his defense he only had the car a couple months and is getting used to it. But his dad used to have a Mustang so he isn't a bad driver. His car has exhaust.

Ran heads up with one from a roll. Neither of us could pull on each other.

I also Beat a Vert with like 4 dumbass kids in it pretty bad from a roll. The weight definitely helped me out there.

As far as I can tell all 3 were manual I am positive the first 2 were but the Vert may have been an automatic.

My cars a FREAK!!!!!! HAHA

I was at mustang madness at Sacramento raceway this weekend and most of the 99 on up with bolt ons were in the mid to low 14's. So considering I run 14.4 with my auto I was very happy. Our cars hold up well with a few minor mods.

I only lost to one 99+ 4.6 all have is exhaust

Yeah im not quite sure how you hung that well, But with just gears and a catback i went from 14.8 stock to 14.3

why does every one say 99+ are faster then us it's so not true every one i have raced was not that fast as people say they are what's the big deal so what if the hp #'s are higher does mean anything some car's are under rated my old 98 maxima was flyhp 190 i dynod at 201 whp stock. 99+ 4.6 bring it

not you, the car that traps 95 and the one tha trapped 102, that is alot more than 3 cars

Got some more background on his car...

He has
Headers
X pipe
Flows
Ported Upper
180 thermostat
ignition
Tri-Ax
He might have mentioned a couple other things I don't remember anyway he told me he let off once he got out ahead of me. I dunno if he did or not but it's like I told him I knew I was going to get but I wanted to see how bad. Anyway Exhaust, gears and a 100 shot should do the trick. (I'm not going to tell him about the 100 shot) Just say I got gears and exhaust.

With those mods yeah I think he would have beat you by more. I was under the impression that he just had exhaust.

Our cars with a couple bolt-ons is a good race for a near stock 99-03 GT if you can drive. As you can see by my results with them.

3 cars is pretty bad, I mean it depends on what you raced to and how you drive but either way, if you raced from 50-100 or 50-120 or something, 3 cars is pretty bad. Gears probably would have made it worse for you from a roll if you had them with a stock intake and cam.

My friend has an 03 GT with a filter, Magnaflow Catback, pulleys, Predator, 3.73's, Accufab Plenum and TB and Nitto's on the stock wheels, he runs 8.4's in the 1/8 all day long. His best is a 8.4@ almost 83 MPH. He just got a Prochamber on it, should run 8.3's or so now. There arent many bolton 94-95 cars running that but I might be trying soon.

He runs 8.80's in the 1/8th with that car 7.90's with his '94

The MPH difference is what would make it bad from a roll, 102 is alot more than 95, if you both hit it at the right spot and ran more than 50-90 or so, he would be trucking pretty hard. Of course, if he won by 3 cars, he was probably about to put more on you, IE, he was pulling away.

Oh well, mod more and drop kick his ass.
