Racing Seats

Does the weight difference in seats make any difference? I have an 03 GT with electric seats and want to put racing seats in if the weight is that big of a difference. Can anyone tell me were to find a nice seat? (weight wise and price) Thanks in advance

The power driver seat weighs in at 57 lbs, i beleive. The passenger seat should be around 42 lbs. I took my seats out, and replaced them with Corbeau FX1 racing seats from Clark at http://www.apexperformance.net The guy gave me a great price, was very helpful, and had the seats to me within 3 days of ordering. The FX1 seat can't weigh much more than 10-15 lbs. Its very lightweight, rigid, and comfortable. It does not recline though, and that may be a disadvantage for you, but I dont mind a bit.
