Rack limiters

Hey guys, I called the local ford dealership looking for some steering rack limiters and the parts guy told me that he cant get those! I told him I was told that he could, and he said 'no, you have to go aftermarket, or maybe the Ford Racing catalogue' so i was wondering if anyone knows the part number for steering rack limiters for a 1990 Mustang GT. Thanks.

How do you figure out which size you need?

Thanks for the advice guys, got them and installed them. No more rubbing! Took 1 per side.

Got them from the Ford dealership. The above part number was dead on, just gave them a ring and told them the number and they had some in stock. Took 10 minutes to install, cant believe i left it this long to put some on.

Bringing this thread back to the top with a question.

I bought two limiters off the above part number. Installed them this afternoon, on the driver side there was already a factory one there(like there should be since my car came with with the 16's) but on the passenger side there wasn't a factory limiter. So that leads me to my question, what happened to the factory limiter? Did it fall off?(It wasn't in the boot so I'm guessing no?) Could it be stuck under the "lip" of the rack where the boot gets its clamp. Any ideas?

I would say one of two things happened, it was missed on the assembly line, or at some point in the cars life it had some service up front and someone forgot to stick it back in place.
