Hello, just looking for some opinions from people who have installed a radiator gap filler on their mustang. I see some from UPR, Steeda and MAC, some just cover the small gap between the radiator and upper tie bar while others go the whole length of the front end to include the gap over the headlights. Just wondering about fit, finish and if possible photos. Thanks in advance for any help.

You mean the "supports" that go the length of the radiator and remove the stock brackets?

I have a Steeda one on mine, fits great, looks good and all. I forget why I have mine to be honest with you....I think I did it to deflect air through the radiator. Either way it was free so I put it on.

Other than looks, I didn't really find any actual advantages for it. I never had any cooling issues, so for me it is just looks.

i have the same steeda one. it does look nice, but it scratches quite easily. mainly from the hood prop rubbing on it slightly. this is the only pic i have of mine right now.

I think it's meant more for folks who not only want some underhood bling, but also don't want to screw around with trimming/bending their stock brackets to fit a 3-core radiator in there.

Thanks fett for the photo, that is the one I was lookig at. UPR also makes one that goes the whole width of the hood but in thier adds it states that some modifying might have to be done, I just do not have confidence in UPR products so the steeda might be the way to go. Thanks everyone for the input.

I have the UPR one that goes on the entire top of the bumper cover. Trimming was a pain in the ass but it looks great.
