I need to replace my radiator. 94 5.0 GT AT. Will be supercharged within the next year, so keep this in mind.

This is between the Fluidyne 2 core and the Pep Boys 3 core.

I have the PepBoys 3 core on my Foxbody, it is actually the GoDan Maximum Cooling stock replacment. It is definatly a easy radiator R&R, and makes a world of difference in cooling. I had A/C and the stock fan when I did mine. I was sitting in traffic one summer with the A/C running and the temps went to right under the redline on the stock temp gauge. My stock clutchfan had leaked out all it's fluid and was cracked, I knew I should have replaced it first but I wanted to go electric, and didn't have the cash and this had to be fixed, so I went ahead with the radiator since I worked at pepboys at the time and got a discount. Even with the worn out clutchfan, it still stayed below half way up the stock temp guage, I have done alot of things to the system now, it still rides at 185* all year 'round. BTW: It will take twice as much fluid to fill the cooling system after the install.

There are alot of newer lower cost Aluminun radiators cheaper than the Fluidyne. You might want to look into this first. But yes, I recomend the GoDan 3 core.

Stock at the moment. Plan to boost in the near future. Radiator needs replacing so I thought I would just get one that could keep it cool under boost.

Good call on upgrading the radiator. Thats the one thing I didnt think of, but needed to upgrade after I installed my blower. I like Griffin, awesome aluminum quality for a cheap price. Im sure all the others are good too. It comes down to how much youd like to spend vs how much work you want stuffing it in there. Universal radiators such griffin and summit are much cheaper than the fluidynes and bee cools, because they are somewhat a custom install.

I dont want to do any custom install. Its more of a cant. No garage, so I need something I can slide right in.

Thats only part of it. I dont have tools to do any type of custom install. You are nearby, care to help?

You dont need any tools. All you are doing is putting on a different lower hose, moving some wires around and putting a new bracket on. If you are cheap you can use pliers to bend the stock brackets. And actually, it literally does slide right in. Not like Im convicing you to go with any certain radiator, they are all good like I said. Im just telling you what the "custom" entails.

I have the Summit radiator with a Ramchargers fan in my car and because of the extra blower belt I did have to do a little customizing to move my radiator forward so that I could adjust belt tension easier.

A new fan would also be in the "custom" work as well I imagine.

Screw it. I am going with the fluidyne, I have used them in the past and have had no problems so they win. If it cant keep an engine cool on 6-8 psi of boost

Hey green, the fluidyne will have no problem at all keeping a supercharged 5.0 cool. Excellent choice.

If you're willing to part with about $300, you can get a Fox chassis-specific aluminum Summit radiator that is supposedly a drop-in. I got a universal and had to make hold-downs.

I live right on Tamarack (about 5 miles west of the track)
I ment what I said, if you need help you can do it in my garrage. It's not the best setup but it's been home to many a mod.
