Don't paint it with any sort of "textured" paint. I have one a guy gave me. He tried to use that wavy paint on to hive it some texture and it came out like CRAP. I got it off of him to use as a template if I ever get around to designing my own. I found a brand-new in box stock one that never had any stickers placed on it at an NMRA race. I bought it to put on my car, but I'm holding off until I too can figure out what I want to do with the piece. They're like $60 from ford.

Straight SP wires ROCK!!

The Power steering pump sleeve is from Steeda..(theyre nearby).
Joe (VibrantRedGT) helped me polisht the coil bracket and that piece with the 2 bolts that holds the pulleys in the front.

Here is a more recent pic which shows:

1. I lost the CAP to the PS pump Sleeve (came off at WOT)
2. Replaced Chrome STB.
3. Better angle of the nasty shroud.

I am not really into spending $200 for that piece. I would rather paint it up and put a few pieces of decor on it.

Since theyre smaller, You need to have a cleaner (meaning less cluttered) area in the front, around the radiator.

Although my engine bay looks nice, there is still a lot of clutter in it, if that makes sense. The black cover hides a lot of stuff. Plus the chromes are expensive. I think just a subtle looking nice stock one is ok!

Thanks

BISHOP:
Do you know how that guy did those letters?
Paint, Decal?

And.....do you know if that is done in white or silver? It looks like white, but the pictures sometimes are deceiving.

I painted the letters and took a pic. Right now, it looks because I gotta tape up around the letters and spray it with Fusion Black.. I actually just got that same decal, but the pony is facing the other way.
We'll see how it looks!
