I think they look good. It gives my 89 LX a stock car look. These are BFGoodrich Radial T/As. For $400 I can't complain.

Ha pretty sure you don't need tires to give your car a stock car look. Everything about your car says stock :rlaugh: But it looks good to me. I dont mind white letters at all. Even if you end up not liking it, its not a big deal to pop the tires off and put the black wall out. But i think it looks sharp.:nice:

Personally, I love raised white letter tires. But then again, I bought my first set of them when most of your guys' parents were still in high school.

Praugue, your car looks great. :nice:

"Stock car" is that racing classification. I always liked watching Stock car races rather than the Indy 500 type. Something about the stickers, raised white letters, shaker hoods, and all that. They just looked meaner.

I put on a Flowmaster II (I think) exhaust so this thing rumbles nicely. The dull paint and the muscle-meats make it my Road Warrior. Next on the list is to tint the windows. THEN she'll look kinda nasty.

Yeah, mine's fairly stock on the outside, but now you know what I mean by "Stock car". I like the old-skool muscle-car look. For an 18-year-old car, it gives it a bit of new life.

Thanks for the comments. Some nice looking Stangs here.

Someday, Pretty Boy (Road Warriors brother ;)) may get the raised letters, too. He got the tinted windows within the first year it came out of the showroom.

I love the look...It does scream muscle car when u run BFG radial TA's..I had them on my old 71 chevelle...I could Imagine that they wouldnt get much traction though on a modded stang with alot of power, but i think it looks good....Your car is very clean too btw....

Simply my opinion, but I HATE white letter tires. Its so 80ish. To me its distorts the whole look.

Distorts the whole look??? These cars are from the 80s!! LOL I guess it's all just a matter of personal taste. Do you want a "classic" look or a more modern looking 'stang? Personally, I'm keeping my '87 stock in appearance and am looking forward to getting RWL tires and louvers for the hatch (yes, louvers!!) just for that classic mid eighties look.
