I ordered a part for the Mustang last week, it was supossed to be here Monday or Tuesday... So I called the company today and asked if it had been shipped. The guy said "no, its been on a 2 week backorder''...

Why couldnt the guy who took my order have told me that? This was the reason I decided to go with this company over another (better) one because I wanted to do some work ASAP... So now ive gotta wait at least 2 weeks if the parts actually come in on time before I can get it.

Sorry for the rant, but its dissapointing.

Im not gonna bomb on the company, cause they sell very nice parts, and have a good reputation around here. It was a shifter though, and they werent the only company that was out of stock apparently.

I thought about cancelling and getting one from somewhere else, but im just gonna wait.

I had this happen to me and still waiting for a running pony grill emblem from 6 weeks ago and the company is 40 miles away from me.

very frustrating

k nevermind then.

but yea i know how it is...same thing happened to me and i ended up waiting 45 days for nothing good luck with things man. hope it doesnt take too long.

+1 That's what I would probably do. I only buy parts from
places that I trust and will send my parts on time.
Don't feel bad it happens to everyone.

I've been waiting for my Fidanza adjustable cam gears from Livernois since early march so stop whining

they were on a 1 week backorder 10 weeks ago...lol
