hey folks,
I was wondering if anyone else has had a slight rattle from the right side of their vents. It almost sounds like the far right circle vent.

Makes me crazy.

I'm getting a little squeak/rattle from the driver's side dash. Could be around the A-pillar, or the left vent-ish area. I also have some little rattle in the door...sounds like it's plasticky...inside? Door lock button or window switches...not sure.

I've had that rattle for sometime now and could never find where it was coming from. Turns out it is the same as yours. Do you have a fix for it or any ideas?

Same here! I know it's the vent, because when I hear the rattle, all I have to do is lightly press the vent and the rattle stops...let go and it comes right back. All I do is either give it more gas or turn the stereo up more

I have a rattle on the passenger side but I feel it more in the suspension rather than in the cabin. Under the hood I found the large fuse box even though it bolted down rattles alot. I took black tape and secured but still have the rattle. I'm taking it to the dealer in two weeks. It's driving me nuts.

I actually took it to the dealer and they replaced the vent saying it was a little loose. Guess who's back in town though.
Rattle.

i have a rattle from the passenger vent when it's closed. also rattle from a-pilar, but i think this is just ford's famous fit and finish. i mean its not a mercedes or a bmw, so i dont expect much. the rattles aren't that bad. my solution was to just make my exhaust louder so it drowns out the rattles, no i cant hear the rattles anymore.

rattle & buzz

The plastic covers behind the door handles rattle and buzz in mine. Turn up stereo for the hi-tech fix.

Rattles are a no cost feature - standard on all Mustangs.
