Is there any way to get rca inputs going into the mach 460 head unit? Is there an adapter of some sort that could accomplish this? I want rca inputs so I can hook up my ipod to my stereo without having to the replace the whole system.

Ipod into Mach 460

Soundgate (http://www.soundgate.com/) has a nice unit that will do what you want, assuming your CD deck still works enough to switch the audio source from radio to CD deck. They tell me what you need are the SDSV2 and DOCKFORDV2 units.

I chose not to buy them for my car because my CD deck does not work reliably enough to let me use a CD to switch from radio to aux inputs. I gutted my CD deck, and wired in my own RCA connectors, and it works fine with the Ipod and other MP3 players. My next step is to wire the Ipod remote I just dismantled into the fromt panel switches of the CD deck, so I can control the Ipod from the stock CD player.

I put up a post a few weeks ago showing how to wire in your own RCA connectors.
