Re-Setting The Computer

Disco the neg batt cable, step on the brakes for about 5 seconds and .......
your good to go.

Or just disco the batt for about 20 mins.

Either way, the clock should read 12:00.

OK then scratch that ive done that about 10 times in the last month, last time being yesterday afternoon when i replaced my battery. Idle Issues and pingage!! I guess it doesent help that it was 108° yesterday and 109° today where i live.

WELCOME TO THE WONDERFUL WORLD OF OWNING AN SN95. This is something that everyone experiences who drives where its hot. You can try anything and everything but untill you change the computer its going to continue. I experienced the same thing until I changed the computer to an A9L. If you want to convert it I have the conversion harness with computer and BAP sensor for sale

I am pretty sure it started when i set my timing back from -6° to 10° stock. Thats when the pinging started. When i open my hood after driving it almost smells like sweet. Does that mean im running lean? I installed an adj. FPR and i dont have a gauge so i dont know what it is reading, when i installed it i had one of those regular PSI gauges that you plug into your fuel rail, not a stationary one. That is how i set the FP when i installed the FPR but since then i have tinkered with the FP back and forth in the hopes it would make some improvement so now i dont know what the hell it is at.

Just for the record here is everything i have done in the last 2 months in terms of replacement parts.

New Parts: Fuel Pump, Fuel Filter, ADJ. Fuel Pressure Regulator, PCV Valve And Screen, 02 Sensors, Coolant Temp Sensor, Air Charge Temp Sensor, New Mass Air Flow Sensor, New Coil, Cap and Rotor, Plugs (gapped), Wires (FRPP 9mm)

P.S. >> I Always 91 Octane Fuel. Recently cleaned and oiled K&N Filter

GET A GAUGE SO YOU CAN FIGURE IT OUT. IF THE FUEL PRESSURE IS TOO LOW IT WILL DEFINATELY CAUSE PINGING. I GOT GAUGES FOR SALE TOO A RAIL MOUNT 1.5" AUTOMETER AND AN AUTOMETER 2 1/16" SPORT COMP MECHANICAL.

Sweet = Coolant ..... unless you're running like Turbo Blue or something.
