Real Cars...

I just don't know when people will realize that civics and haundais are not supposed to go above 90 but instead are meant to sit in traffic and drive your kids to school.

I disagree. The hot rodding bug can be applied to anything with a motor. On the other hand, rice is rice, on anything. Hot rodding is making something faster than it's supposed to be. Like the guy says, horsepower comes first, not a body kit. The reason a 400hp civic is cool, is because it probably weighs about 2100lbs.

'32 Fords were built as economy cars too..........

There is a time and place for everything. If a bunch of kids want to put all their money into getting their 4 banger going 14's and looking like a Transformer toy I don't have a problem with that but a hotrod show full of old muscle cars is not the place for riced out 4 cylinders IMO. That in itself just don't seem right to me. Personally no matter how hard I try I can't find a riced out 400 hp civic cool  especially sitting next to that 57 chevy or the 68 mustang. There are local muscle car shows around here and I wouldn't take my mustang to any of them other than for transportation and to park it in the parking lot with all the other spectators.. I just don't think it fits next to a row of 56 chevy's that hard core guys put alot of blood, sweat, tears, and money into restoring, painting, and bringing back an old clasic from the dead.
