real excited!

so my tko 600 arrived on my door step today with the bell housing n everything, got a mccleod clutch n pressure plate new pilot n throwout bearing to go on as well..everyting should be ready for install this weekend..one question tho...wat kind of fluid does it take n how much? hows the shifting also? pretty notchy i heard

It will take approx 3 quarts or until it comes out of the fill hole. Royal Purple makes great Transmission fluid
 
Mine came with fluid, surprised yours did not. Tremec recommends "GM synchromesh part # 12345349, or Dexron III / Mercon Spec ATF fluid for all TKO transmissions ." Proper fill level is achieved when oil reaches the fill plughole when level (approximately 5.28 pints).

Shifting is solid. Some like that, some don't.
