Rear Brake Pad Question

Okay, so it's time for me to change my rear brake pads. I went out today and took the old pads out and was going to put the new ones in but a couple of the brackets that go on the pads were broken and just fell apart when I lifted the pad out of the caliper. Does anyone know what that braket is called and where I can get one? I've been searching online but can't seem to find anything. Thanks in advance for any help you can offer.

Go to Ford .....auto stores wont have those parts, Ford will sell brake part kits, I dont know which bracket you mean but Ford will show you the brake set-up on the computer & order the part....................Johnny

The thin metal parts I assume you're talking about are called "slippers". I was told you couldn't buy these by themselves, they come with the pads from Ford.
