Rear Bullitt/Cobra Brakes

Is it true that you have to remove the axles to install the rear bullitt/cobra brake kit? If so, how hard is this to do? BTW, I know installing them on the rear won't really improve braking performance. I would be doing it for aesthetics only to match the front.
 
will you even feel a difference by changing the rears? I already have the cobra fronts but can't see spending the money on rears being that they only help for about 20 percent of the braking power.

Cobra brakes in the back are the same size rotors as GT's. They are vented, so you will need to run Cobra pads to make up for the difference.
