Hi, I am looking to upgrade my rear to a 9" and wanted comments about what others have done. I know I can get them from Currie, are there any other good places where I can get the whole set up, inculding brakes? Also, is it possible to have one made that will still be the exact same width as what I have now? ( 7")

Also, regarding front disc setups, what are the best aftermarket setups that offer everything in kits? I know of Baer, and willwood. any others out there? I want to use a 15" wheel so hopefully something will fit...

I have a 65 Coupe, that will be done as a mild restomod. Thanks!!

for rear ends you can get them built in just about any width you want. besides currie, there is mark williams, strange engineering, national drivetrain, and a host of others. in fact if you pick up a copy of street rodder magazine or a copy of mucsle mustangs and fast fords, you will find a bunch of ads selling custon built 9" rears.

as for brakes, brembo also makes an excellent system. also check with master power brakes as they do nothing but brakes right now.
