Rear end set up list?

I am going to pick up an 8.8 out of a 91 mustang for my vert.
It has 3.27 gears and has not much play in the yoke, so I assume they are okay.

Anyways, I plan on just setting it aside, I am getting it for 100 dollars which is cheap from what others I have seen.
I want to put 3.73s or 3.55s in it, and clean it up and paint the whole thing gloss black, but I also want to do everything in the rear at once, so I am just going to gather all the parts and go at it.
Problem is, I am not sure of what I should all replace and good brand names, I have stock 92 4cyl rear, so everything back there is FACTORY.

Control arms? shocks? A sway bar?

Sure, change it all. Do you want it to hook, or corner? Makes a difference. How much power do you think it'll ever have to handle? Also makes a difference.

You might as well just go balls to the wall and throw in a posi, 31 splined axles with 4 or 5 lugs depending on your wheels, 373 gears, panhard bar, some quality upper and lower control arms, and lower control arm torque boxes.

if you want to add control arms, torque box reinforcements are a must.

I would recomend doing a eaton diff, strange axles, and c-clip eliminators while you're in there, also a diff cover. Above mentioned susupension mods too.
