Rear end setup?

I bought battle boxes from wild rides here’s a article from 5.0 mag http://www.mustang50magazine.com/howto/35618_wild_rides_battle_boxes/index.html They were like 150.00

If you keep stock uppers but box them, you'll have better arms, reduce flex/wheel hop, and not do as much(if any) damage to your torque boxes.

And it all kind of depends on the use of the car. Street/strip i would get the boxes. If it's just a fun cruiser, then don't worry about it.

Mm motor sports has there own way of thinking on the upper control arms. And the reason why is the upper boxes are weaker than the lower so they tell you to run the stock rubber and arms so they flex but that defeats the purpose of getting the lowers because they will be solid but the uppers will flex every where. so you have a lot of twist hop and windup in the rear not to mention the pinion angle will change. mm motorsports also tells you to run the pan hard rod which will elimiate a lot of side to side, hop and twist and much of the axle windup. the most effective rear end setup with keeping the stock design is get new better lowers and adjustable upper with the solid end bushing on the car and put the stock rubber in the axle. So you get a little bit of cussion and put the reinforcments in the boxes. I personally will be running the steeda alumin 400hp+ lowers and a good set of adjustablle uppers. flipped quads and so good reinforcements. Built up rear and a astro t5. The weakes piont will be the tranny and driveshaft.

This is exactly what I did. It made an incredible difference.
