I have a fully bulit rear end. And I'm restoring my mustang as well (fox 91) I have lakewood uppers and lower control arms. My questions are this
What torque box are the best? When I say bes,. I mean best overall fitment, thicker metal. I've found upper and lower for 169 (wild race car brand)
I called maximum Motorsports about the upper control arms they said to use ford stock arms with ford stock bushing on each side. So you don't damange the torque boxes. I feel like the axle will have greater wheel hop/flex with this combo vs going with the bushing of aftermarket upper arms and bushing. They said that reinforcing the tq boxes will only make them last a little longer but they will eventually get damaged.
