rear end width question

If I were to use a rear end that has the width of the 65-66 mustang on a 67mustang, would I be able to simply obtain the proper backspaced wheel for it to work? I like the deep dish look of wheels with little backspace in the rear. I do not want to tub the car or any other structural changes. thanks; chuck

no expert here, but that should work. Or use some spacers.

Yep, that will work

I like the look of a real deep dish. Like the AC Cobra. Especially in a 15" wheel.
The only negative (and this is really minor since you will be running a wider than stock wheel anyway), is the additional twisting load seen by the outer axle bearing and axle flange, due to the decrease in B.S.

Should look very nice with the right wheel set. Look forward to seeing pictures.
