Rear sway bar breakage

Ok this is my second mustang first one was a 97 this one is a 96 and on both of them the rear sway bar broke in exactly the same place (passenger side right at the bolt hole).. I'm wondering if this is a common thing..

It's common on the 96-98 cars...even those year Cobras.

Upgrade to bullitt bars if you can find a set

I wish they made one that didnt hang as low. With my sagging ass Sportlines in the back, my Sway Bar always rubs when leaving plazas with steep exits or big speed bumps. Anyone know if the Cobra or Bullitt ones don't hang as low?
