its common for the rear swaybars on our cars to break. I didn't realize that my car didn't have a sway bar either until recently so I got a steeda heavy duty swaybar. It made a huge difference in handling, much more stable in turns and the suspension feels a lot tighter.

Two 95gt's: two broken sway bars lol.

It's the most widespread 94-95 problem IMO. It's an easy fix. I ordered a suspension techniques one from Summit for like 90 bucks, and it works perfect. Installed in a hour flat with basic tools.

If you have been driving with no swaybar for this long even a stock one will feel great! If it is comparable in proce go for an aftermarket bigger one...but if the deal is too good, just pick up the stocker.

+1 ..... Mine broke years ago and I replaced it with the heavier factory cobra bar. No problems with it.

+2 on suspension techniques.

i have the front bar and plan on replacing my rear cobra bar with one.

if the rear is as quality as the front you cannot go wrong.

Didi you notice a difference between that and stock one? ST is $105 thru summit. 15/16 inch http://store.summitracing.com/partd...925130+4294839061+4294923769+115&autoview=sku

What size is stock? EDIT ansr = 15/16. So that would mean it makes no difference in handling I would assume...

Get this one it is Cobra and larger.

Anyone know if you need a rear sway bar with a torque arm kit? Or does it eliminate the need for a rear sway?

I don't believe you 'need' one, per say, but I think you would still benefit a bit from one. That is, of course, you are looking to not have the extra crap on your control arms and want to save a bit of weight

Makes sense to me.

:OT: BTW, I like your set up. I did a H/C/I and ended up with almost 300rwhp and 310TQ and your TQ is freaking amazing! It is nice having a new engine with the h/c/i and s-block but looks like the TQ on a stock + SC is awesome.
