Will a '96 8.8 fit in a '93 notch?

yea, a mustang 8.8 will.. brakes and axles are different of course

yes it will fit it is a direct bolt on. But the 96 is longer by like a quarter inch on each side. So you have to check the clearance for certain rims and tires. You should be okay as long as you dont run wider than an 8 inch rim.

You can use the rear end from a 94-98 as the Housings are EXACTLY the same as your 93! If you wanted to keep the rear disc brakes then you would increase your rear end width, but I actually think it looks better with the slightly wider Track, but if you bolt your Stock stuff back up then there will be no difference at all.
