i plan on changing to a five lug soon and have heard mixed opinons about taking axels out of a ranger trying to save money from buying the kit then i was told that i could swap the rearend out of a sn95 and was wondering if any one has done it and if so what was needed and the ease of the swap i know that i would need either a new master cylinder and brake booster but also heard with a adjustable porportioning vavle i shouldnt have to worry about the new booster and m/c but ya again any thoughts?

If you want to do it the right way, it involves swapping booster, MC and installing adjustable prop valve.

If you only change the front disks out, and leave rear drums, then you can get away without MC and booster sometimes, but the minute rear disks brakes come into play, you pretty much need to do it right or don't do it at all
