Rearranging combo for more power and rpms.

So this summer I want to up the ante. My current power levels are in the sig. I dont want to change the exhaust, but what else can I do to up the power and rpms. To support the power I was thinking of getting the aluminum R302 block since its only $1700, and then forged crank and H-beams. But for more power I was thinking of porting out the trackheats to 185 runners, and larger exhaust side to support the blower. Then a custom cam, Torker II intake, and TPC built carb for blowthrough. I make good power and its very driveable, but the parts I chose are killing max power and higher rpm band. AFRs would be best but not spending another $1300 when I can just port these. I'm thinking that rearranging the combo can net another 100 horses. Port,cam,intake, carb and 4 more lbs of boost should get me there. That would be around 750 at the flywheel.

Aluminum R block for $1700??????

Port the heads, a nice solid roller cam and some more boost

Thats what I thought too, but www.houstonperformance.com has them listed for 1700. I dont want to do the solid roller though.
