So I got a little advice on my painting question, now I have a tranny question. About a year ago I had my tranny rebuilt because of a bad synchro. I couldn't hardly get it into 4th gear. The guy that rebuilt it did a crappy job, because I had trouble right away (stalled out and got stuck in 3rd gear on a TRAIN TRACK, had to push it out of the way). He actually had to rebuild it twice. So now it's a year later and I'm having the same problem, but with 5th gear this time grinding every time I put it in, and a lesser extent reverse. Can't hardly get it into gear and it keeps wanting to slip out. Very embarrassing when I'm cruising down the highway lol. The guy also supposedly replaced the clutch, but I have had tons of squealing from it since then so I don't even know if he did, or perhaps he messed that up too.
What would you guys (and gals) do? Should I get someone else to rebuild it yet again and get another new clutch, or should I just say screw it and try to acquire a new tranny? If new, should I replace it with another T-5 or upgrade? Any other tranny's out there more reliable? Though I've heard the T-5 is a very reliable tranny.
EDIT: Btw, car has 140k miles on it. Had about 125k when I initially had the tranny rebuilt.

So unless I'm a terrible driver and don't know it, I guess the rebuilder just did a bad job.
