Rebuilding my 351M motor....lifter removal?

Anything special in removing the lifters? I'm probably going to get this blocked bored, but not sure how much over yet. Doesn't this change my CC ratio? How do I determine how much to bore it, or will the machine shop know that answer? Seems this is my cheaper route, then to replace the motor. Should I replace the crank? I've been told, the only difference between the 351M and the 400 is the crank. I'm also going to get my heads all rebuilt (valves, springs, etc).

.030 over on the bore and the 400 has a 4 inch stroke crank

The 400 has a longer stroke crank (4in) But the rods and pistons are different lengths, right?

they both use the same 6.5800 rod but the piston pin height is different. 1.647 on the 400 and 1.947 on the M. Also deck height differs on these also. 10.297 on the M and 10.292-10.302 on the 400. Same main and rod journals, 2.9998 mains and 2.3107 rods

Do the lifters just pop out or do I have to use a special tool?

pull em out, use a small magnet if ya cant grab it
