I know I'm the 79 Camaro guy but here's a recap of my 66 Fastback build.
It is a "T" code car.
9" Versille rear end with 94-97 Camaro 12" discs. Same as basic Baer kit. I made the rear brackets. 3:70 gears with Currie Track Nine Posi.
Maier 1" drop rear springs. Tried a few burn outs. No wheel hop.
91 Mustang 302 and T5 combo. 274 HR Comp Cams and AFR heads. Did 408 HP on the engine dyno. It runs super.
C5 Corvette front brakes. 13" rotors. I made the brackets. It's like the upgraded Baer kit. I used 70 spindles.
GT springs cut 1.5 coils. 235 x 17 front tires and 255 x 17 rear tires.
Flow master exhaust with Delta Flow 30 series mufflers. A little noisy on acceleration but crusing it's OK.
Auto Meter gauges.
Painless wiring kit. The basic 18 curcuit system. I used it because I used an Ididit tilt colum and the 91 engine has the soleniod on the starter. Took a little time to figure out the Ford headlight switch but it works good.
Hydratech hydro boost for the disc brakes. With the 274 cam there isn't enough vacuum to run the brakes. The brakes are awesome.
Large aluminum Griffin 69-70 radiator. I opened up the radiator support opening to take advantage of the larger radiator.
Photos to follow.
Any one going to Car Craft Nationals in St.Paul?
