Hello,
Well with spring just around the corner, I was thinking of dropping the stance of my 65 for a more aggressive look. Currently running stock suspension with KYB Premium Gas Shocks. The wheel gap in the rear is larger than that of the front. Any suggestions for a cost efficient solution that will not destroy ride quality?

how much would you like to lower it? I'm using 1" drop coil springs up front, and 1" drop 5 leafs in back with 1" lowering blocks. All are reasonably priced and easy to come by, but changing springs simply takes a while to do. I love the stance it produced. Here is a picture to help you decide if that might be too low. By the way, your car is beautiful.

Sittin way too high. Get some 620's and cut 3/4 a coil plus a Shelby drop, then get the reverse eyes and a 1/2" drop block.

My combo is the same minus the block but I plan to run one.

4 leaf reverse eye or mid eye rear springs.

Do an Arning drop to the front, cut the front ones to match.

Nice paint. Nicer garage.

Thanks for all the comments, I will look for replacement springs and coils.
Does anyone have a recommendation as to which to buy? Mustang Depot?

Also does anyone know of a suspension shop in Chicago or the western suburbs that one can recommend?

Thanks again!
