Recommended Factory Tire pressure Stock 04 Cobra.

Hi,

I have a new stock 04 Cobra and the tire pressure is currently 26.5 around. I looked at the door jack and it says 32 psi cold. However the tires say max 44 psi.

My rear passenger tire is the odd ball at 26 psi and hence my car pulls to the right a bit. I was going to go down and inflate them up...

What is everyone running? :(

Thanks.....

And yes even before you say it. I will be getting some NITTO's next time. :nice:

I run between 31 and 32psi...for city and freeway driving. Congrats your new cobra :nice:

Thanks man :) I love it....the black beauty...400 BKJ are the plates that came with it. Maybe someone at the DMV was having some fun huh?

I looking to put some custom plates on soon enough.

Eric

Nitto DRs are dangerous in the rain. Nothing quite like the feeling of the front sticking and the rears hydroplaning.

If you have to do DRs get another set of rims and only run the DRs in the dry.

I had a close call and will not run DRs in the wet. A pry bar was needed to dislodge the seat from my ass. My extensive XBOX PGR and RalliSport experience helped save me :D

LMAO!

Dude that sucks!

I'm taking my black momba to PIR to learn to drive it hard. Anyone else done this?

Just curious if I should put a new set of tires on prior to the event. I'm talking about the driving course...

:rlaugh: nice

Ok I took a bit of Jordon's advice as well.

Well Jordan has bout maybe 75rwhp more then I do ...so rw hop is not going to be as bad. So I put 31.5 psi front 32 psi rear.

I will be watching how it handles. I could actually tell .5 psi difference in the passenger side rear tire. The car was pulling to the right slightly. Now it's not. So will the car push slightly more with the lighter psi up front?

:nice:

DAMN that's what I thought...take air out of the rear to lesson the wheel hop...brb...LOL

A-Men to that!

My 555R's were so bad that I didn't drive my car until my new tires showed up. Those things are terrible in the Oregon rutted/water saturated streets.
