Red or black

Whats up guys, I was wondering if you can help me out.. I'm gona be in the process of installing the saleen kit and painting my lx.. but I can't decide on what color .. I was wondering if you guys could post picks of ur red or black cars..

Im more of black mustang fan, but for some reason I like the red better. I say go with red

What color is the car now?? Unless you paint everything under the hood, behind the door panels, in the door jambs, under the hatch and in the hatch "well", i say leave it the OEM color. Color changes only look good when everything is done, otherwise it looks like a $200 maaco job.

With that said, here's my Black LX with Saleen wing (Saleen GFX coming soon)

the car has to be repaint, the paint is fading on the roof and a couple of other parts. I'm also going to get a few rust spots by the rear fender fixed.. I hear what ur saying but the engine bay was already painted black.. I also bought a new 2 1/2 cowl hood... I really dont know what the stock color is but I dont want to repaint it with the color it has now

the main parts:engine: DSS superbullit 331, vic Jr heads, T62 Turbonetices turbo, custom piping, front mount intercooler, and whole lot of other parts..lol, the suspenson is fully redone with the front having tubalar k member along with control arms, coil overs up front, rear have a MM torque arm and panhard kit, the stopping comes from brembo 13" 4 piston calipars up front... I'm in the process of find a good brembo setup for the rear... the pic was at the tuning shop PSI Motorsports.. the car made 420whp and 510whq at 4,300 RPM before the fuel pump went.. I can't wait to see what it makes when the new Fuel pump is install

Red all the f-ing way. Although i am gonna do a black car next. But thats only cause i already have a red one! Heres mine! I always thought about putting a "saleen" lower silver decal on mine but decided it looks better without it!

Isn't it funny that the guy who owns a black mustang suggested another color?? lol

Black is sweet and all, but i'm sick of how it gets dirty 10 minutes after I wash it Maintainence on black is a bitch

that's the same thing I've been thinking my wifes navi is black and it's a pain to keep clean.. even with a little dust you can tell...

My car is black and I just washed it yesterday. It already needs a wash.

When it comes to Saleens, white with the black stickers is the best*

*except the rare calypso saleens.

Oh and btw, those are the proper stripes for 99% of all Fox Saleens made. The only Saleens to come with side slash stripes were the rare SC, SSC and SA-10. I find it funny to see so many Saleen "replicas" wearing the incorrect 94-98 side decals.

Here is one of the rare 1990 SC's (notice the 1-year only double stack spoiler)

I've always love the way the fox looks with the saleen body kit on. But I'm not going for a full saleen replica.. just the Bodykit.. I would buy a real one but I'm not going to pay over $10,000 for a Fox saleen...
