Red Paint Color

I inquired a while ago about the Unique Performance Super Snake color and was shot down by Dave. I have looked through hundreds of paint chips lately and finally found a color that I think will look good. I'm interested in what others think.

Porsche Gaurd Red

I found a couple of cars that have this color (including a mustang!)

Also considering Torch Red, and Audi Misano Red.

I am shooting mine is Boyd's Red... custom PPG color. Its the same as they used on junk yard dog, and its an amazing color.

I prefer a bright, crimson red. To me, the Guards Red has a slight orangey tint to it, not quite like Poppy Red. The Boyd's Red is amazing! I also like the Viper Red for a factory color myself. House of Kolor has one called Blue Blood Red, http://www.cyclecolor.com/id53.htm, that I have seen used on Monster Garage or one of those other shows. It really popped after being finished.

Painted!

I painted the engine compartment with a single stage red this weekend. All of the bolts/accessories in the engine compartment will be painted black to contrast. I ended up choosing a known combination, the Ford GT red and the white stripes. I think that it will look good in the end. Here are some pictures
