Redrilling Granada rotors

I know this has been gone over but I have one more thought I'd like to get opinions on. CobraIILover was looking into having Granada rotors redrilled to the 4-lug pattern so he wouldn't have to purchase new wheels for the Thundersnake. He said that since the 2 bolt patterns somewhat overlapped (assuming 5-lug was 5x4.5 and 4-lug as 4x4.25) that you would have to fill (weld) one lug hole before drilling the new pattern, which his machine shop didn't want to do. Finally, here's my question what if you purchased the Granada rotors with a 5x5" pattern there wouldn't be any overlap of any holes right when redrilling to 4x4.25, so does it sound feasible to anyone. Below are some drawing to illustrate what I'm trying to say. And yes, you can get Granada rotors in 5x5" for street rods.

When I had my original rotors redrilled, they drilled the overlapping stud out to about an inch, and made an interference-fit sleeve for the hole then redrilled the rotors to the 5-lug.

They make Granada rotors in 5x5? Streetrod stuff, I guess?
