Sorry about the delay but here are a few more pics up close. Still not the best quality but I'll eventually get a digital camera and stop using my cell phone camera.
Oh yeah autozone, at least the ones out by me, dont sell the duplicolor trim paint that I used. When I was doing my research on the forums on how to do it I did notice other people who just used regular gloss or satin black and since you are going to clear it anyway I'm not sure it would make that much of a difference.
we sell the duplicolor trim paint at the autozone i work at. it has a green label. when i did mine, i literally laid an entire can of high build primer on each quarter window, that's how bad they were. i didn't spray clear on them though, thanks for the info, i'll do that before i put them back on. here's some finished pics of mine off my car:
btw, all the white stuff is body filler dust...it'll all wash off...
Looks good man if I didn't live in an apartment complex I probably would have taken mine out of the car just so I wouldn't have to mask the entire thing.
yeah it made it a lot easier. honestly if i didn't already have my car torn down for paint, i probably would have left them on the car too. taking those windows off is kind of a PITA because you have to remove the interior quarters.
