I trying to determine if im using the right relay for my Fuel pump (magnafuel).

Im using a Ford relay Part # FOAB-14B192-AA

it seems to be getting warm/ hot not like melting plastic hot but hot. I did run the pump for about an hour and half in the garage and it just kept going. Just making sure that the relay is not the wrong one or anything. Any advice would be great voltage goes from 12-15 volts at high RPM.

For those of us unfamiliar with that pump, what is the draw of the pump at say 15 volts?

What gauge wiring did you run?

You're not sure what amperage the relay is? That part # looks familiar, but that doesn't mean anything :bang:

Is it a SPST relay?

All of those pumps spec out with little amperage draw - your relay really shouldnt be getting hot unless there's a bad connection or other issue.

Are you sure the relay is wired up correctly?

Good luck.
