Has anyone moved their coil somewhere else? I was considering moving mine to the pass. side fender, on the front of the strut tower, near the ignition module. Is the coil mounted on the engine there for cooling? Is there some other reason that I shouldn't move this?

The pic is the coil I have.

If I were to move it somewhere, I would try to find a spot out of sight completely. But I'm inclined to believe that Ford put the coild that close to the distributor for a reason. There may be problem with putting it too far away. That may not be the case, but unless you know maybe you should just consider dressing up where it is instead.

the coil was moved to where it was because ford placed the power distrobution block where it previously resided in fox bodies...mounted to the front of the driver side strut tower

Moving it shouldn't cause any problems. All the Kenne Bell guys have to move theirs out of the way for the blower to fit.
