i have seen a lot of posts in here about stiff clutches and other clutch problems, but i have not seen many people say they replaced the clutch fork and pivot.
i was bored at work and sick of getting a one leg workout everytime i drive the car. so i droped the tranny and not only was my cable binding a little but my pivot ball is destroyed. and my centerforce DF is showing a ton of wear and signs of sliping. the previous owner installed that clutch and he must have launched the way i do
ohh and no surpirse my T/O bearing was junk.
well now i went with a KC clutch ( i dont have the money for another CF dual friction) new ford flywheel, cable,T/O bearing, pilot bearing, pivot ball and clutch fork. i know the KC is stiffer than stock but i have driven other cars with kc and it was lighter than what i had.
