Is it bad to remove the quad shocks on a fox or SN-95 style mustang? I care only about drag performance and I want to fit wider tires. Some tell me to do it while others say don't. Do a lot of you guys remove them?
You may have a wheel hop problem without them (it's what they are there to stop) or you may not. Seems to differ from car to car. You can steal some room by turning them around sometimes.
Already have aftermarket control arms and already turned them (quads) around but they are still gonna be in the way I think. I want to fit some 275-40-18's and they just seem to be in the way, I am just real paranoid of wheel hop, I need to still be able to sit and roast tires at a whim and of coarse be able to launch really hard from the line at the track. If I do remove them and still get wheel hop, what can I do to get rid of the wheelhop and still keep the quad shocks off?
